The ancient road travelled by pilgrims from the 9th to 13th centuries from Canterbury to Rome, passes a few kilometers from Il Rosolaccio.

The road connects Gambassi Terme to San Gimignano (Route 9) and San Gimignano, Monteriggioni (Route 10). Other routes nearby Il Rosolaccio are between Certaldo, Castelfiorentino, Montaione, Poggibonsi and Colle di Val d'Elsa.
